Return boat shuttle to beautiful Vargas Island. Escape the crowds and enjoy white sand beaches all to yourself. The boat ride to Vargas Island is approximately 15 minutes. Relax on the beach or hike across the island to Ahous Bay to enjoy views of the open ocean. The hike to Ahous Bay is on an unmaintained trail (3 hours return).
You will meet your driver at First Street Dock. First Street Dock is at the bottom of First Street in downtown Tofino. There’s no parking at the dock, so you’ll need to park in town and walk down. If you can’t find street parking, there’s a pay parking lot at Main and Third. When you get to the dock, go past the Yellow Tofino Air office and wait on the right hand side. Please wait for your boat driver on the pier and not on the floats.
You can arrange a pick up time with the Driver when they drops you off. Feel free to stay on the island as long as you like.
Ahousaht Access fees are available at check out. For groups bigger than 10 or staying longer than 5 days, please contact our office. Children are not included in these fees.
First street Dock
Walk past the yellow building onto the pier. You can wait for your boat at the end of the pier on the right side.
We reserve the right to cancel reservations due to weather or insufficient reservations for a tour. We will do our best to reschedule or accommodate any guests on tours where a cancellation is required.
We require a full 48-hour notice on all cancellations from the scheduled time of tour departure. If you are unable to participate on the tour within the 48-hour cancellation window, we do not offer a refund but will be happy to reschedule your tour for an alternative date. Cancellations may be subject to a cancellation fee.
